Cart is empty In 2020 covid situation was on its peak level during March to June months; there was a lockdown in the whole world. Many people lost their jobs all over the world and in our country also. In the private sector there was lot of tension or stress at the work. This situation encouraged to think about having one’s own business. We were not able to do our work those days. My job place was 15-16 km away from my home and also in an adjacent district. In September 2020 in the first wave of covid we both means myself and my husband suffered from covid and were admitted to the hospital. This situation taught me about how the life is very important for us and our loved ones. We both were thinking about quitting my job and let us begin for a new adventure. Because up to this moment, my job was somewhat non risky. The timing to shift from job to a business was suitable for me. But, the year 2020-21compelled us to think afresh and take a risk in life. After suffering from covid we got new life. My husband is successful ayurvedic practitioner for last 30years and I am a pharmacist, so, we decided to delve into something we are proficient into; to prepare OTC Ayurvedic herbal products which are very effective, useful and affordable to common people. Thinking process began in year 2020 and dream came true in April 2021 at the auspicious day of GUDHI PADAWA. Hindu New Year starts in Chaitra month. Initially 4 products were prepared and marketed offline to doctors, but still covid was there so we plan to sell them digitally also on FB, INSTA, WhatsApp and on. The response from digital was slow but steady. 3 products out of 4 were simple and familiar to every household but, 1 product AVANI URJA KALP was formulated by doing research, like Protinex, Horlicks in the market. It is totally herbal and prepared naturally in the form of granules and it is useful to all members of family from children to elder ones.
AVANI URJA KALP contains Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Upalsari and Shankhapushpi. These ingredients are best energizer, immune-booster for children and all people. If children can consume this with milk then it is a good in mental tonic to improve concentration and cognition due to Shankhapushpi. Challenge for formulating this Kalp was to make it in a granule form with herbal and by natural way. But our manufacturing department experimented very hard and easily handled this challenge and made it possible. Other products were already in the market like Shatavari Kalp, Face Pack and Maka Tel. After one year, we realised that product range needs thoughtful additions. Then we decided to increase product range and do research on ointments. Already our Padadari ointment was there with fantastic results. We formulated two another ointments like Payujeet and Skinojit. Due to herbal and natural process it was difficult to stabilise the ointments. But we succeed after relentless research and experimentation. Skinojit is best skin ointment, very useful to all type of skin diseases like psoriasis, eczema, fungal infections, itching, allergies etc.
The next products to hit the market included Cough Syrup, Gulkand, Chyavanprash. We introduced many such effective products in the market within 3 years. The popular combination of Gulkand contains Prawal and mauktik, but, Avani Gulakand contains Chandan and Wala, best for acidity, heat, and tastelessness particularly during summer season. Avani Chyavanprash is our Signature Product. It is prepared by traditional method with so many processes involved. We used pure ghee obtained from cow milk and also farm fresh amala fruit, which is very energized with Iron, Vit C and protein.
